Ability to clear past chat text

Unless I am missing something i don't see a way to clear previous text in an IM window. Even closing the window saves some of chat history.

Sometimes my frieds say things i wouldn't want left up in the chat window. the ability to clear this text would be nice

There's no way to do this from within Digsby currently but you can go to "My Documents\Digsby Logs" and remove files from there.

You can't clear the history righ enough, but if you just don't want   to see past chats when you open a new IM conversation, go to 'preferences' under tools.  Go to 'conversations' and you will notice on conversation preferences you can select how many (if any) lines of past conversation is show in the window.

I think this would be nice, but I don't want it to clear out the actual logs, just the screen.
