Agreeing with the previous posters I looked for a temp solution to the linked in prob...
Create a widget in the normal way, get the code, but just copy the src data, and then paste that into the website portion of your linkedin profile. I made it as an "Other" then created my own title called "Live Chat".
When this link is selected, because it does not have the size limitations within the embed tag, it opens a new window full screen.
This is not a final solution, but it works for now.
