Searching Chat Logs

I think an added search function on the chat logs would be useful. Currently, we only have find, which finds specific words for the day we're looking at right now, but it would be more useful to have a search that encompasses all days of chat logs.

This would be a really nice feature.  It can be difficult to find a specific log/chat...  I've been used to gtalk's logging and search-ability too much.

Any word on this feature.. Im bout to go back to trillian.  Between this and the msn issues..

we're not working on this at the moment. try windows find-in-file search until we do, it works for me ;-)

Search the way Windows Vista does that narrowing down as you are typing is cool.  Is that index searching?

I would like to note that AIM does not have a built-in log viewer or search feature... It does however have one HTML file for each contact that opens in a web browser in which you can then use the browser's search. It would, however, be useful to split files after a certain size, as I've had logs get upwards of 2MB and those can be quite slow to load.
