Only show email icon if there are unread messages

Ideally, I would like Digsby to only show an email icon in the system tray if I have unread messages. I have lots of email accounts, but I've only set up one of them in Digsby because I don't want my system tray to be packed full of little grayed out email icons.

Thats not a bad idea, kind of like have the mail bar within the contact window appear when there is mail and disappear if everything is marked read etc..

Yeah I brought this up in another thread. Ideally it's what should happen for email and social network icons.

I don't mind this as an option, but I use the icon to compose messages (right click- compose).

Email -> Compose could be part of the digsby status tray right click menu, if you have a mail account added.

This feature has my vote too, especially since I use Windows Live Mail and thus the Inbox and Compose links are (currently) useless to me anyway.

+1 for less system tray clutter (Only show icons for accounts with unread messages) Some people like lots of icons, but this could be a selectable feature.

I like having the email icon, for quick access to my inbox or composing a message, but maybe we could compromise and change the colour of the icon to be grayed out when you have no new messages? That's probably the best way to please everyone.

I think this is a great option, I would most certainly enable it.

Great option. I'd definitely take advantage of it.

Voting for this. I hate having it in the Digsby window so I just deal with it in the systray.

+1 although, only if there was a menu feature added to the digsby tray icon that said check all mail.
I don't have a signature because they turned the [img] tag off

+1! Or the option to reduce the email accounts display to icons in the contact list just like in the tray, I think it takes way too much space when you have several accounts! I have 5 plus 2 social networks... A sidetab with email/social network icons would be fine too... Or even when u have the contact list separated by service, have an icon there in the contact group bar just like the one in the tray.. All this with the pop up that it already has it's great!

-1! I only actively use 1 account. and I like knowing where things are. Maybe, as a preferance
