MySpace IM

it would be great if we could use myspace IM along with the myspace social network... putting my myspace account in digsby logs me out of the regular myspace IM.. which is a horrible client anyways but I have a few friends who only use that. any plans on this? thanks

I promise you, this is on our list. I plan on doing it personally

I don't use Myspace, but I do use Facebook. Does that mean that we would see something similar to a friends list for these two on digsby that acts like a friends list for AIM or MSN? That is, you can see which facebook or myspace friends are online at any given time without logging in to facebook.

I don't think Facebook has an IM API but I could be wrong. But MySpaceIM will just kill it big time. Only reason I don't use it is because I just don't want 3 damn IM apps running (Digsby, Skype, and also MySpaceIM). Put them all in one and we have a winner. I think Trillian Astra will support that but that thing has been in Alpha stage for a year now? Jeez...

This is actually the only thing keeping me from being completely and totally in love with this app...since it uses a part of the myspaceim protocol to keep up with notifications it boots me out of myspaceim Pidgin already has this protocol implemented (Google Summer of Code project) maybe a lot of the work could be translated?

MySpaceIM is a MUST! I love all the extra features of this, but I'm very hesitant to move away from Pidgin quite yet, because a lot of my chat contacts are on MySpaceIM. Please work on this quickly!

MySpace IM is about the only thing I can think of that Digsby is missing.  I'm trying to help my sister-in-law learn the computer and a lot of her friends use MySpace; it would be much easier for her to be able to do all chat through Digsby rather than also having to use the MySpace IM client.
