iTunes Plugin

Some other IM clients (Pidgin to name one) have plugins that update your IM status automatically to show what is playing in iTunes and other media players. It would be cool if there was a plugin for Digsby that did that.

x2...that would be cool...just I despise Itunes and WMP and use WinAmp.

Audio integration, I agree, would be sweet.  However, to make it scalable and "program-specific-free", how about integration with Last.fm?  There are a ton of audioscrobblers for Last.fm.

Yeah Last.fm integration is quite popular. I think we just need to clarify it a bit more as to exactly what we need from Last.fm integration, so it makes more sense to the developers.

Btw, Last.fm has a feature to send Now Playing msg to Windows Live Messenger.

As far Now Playing feature request goes, +1 for that. Not only from iTunes but from WMP, WinAMP etc. people will appreciate.

I am sure the Personal Message implementation is in the works...

Yeah, that'll be awesome. I jam out on Winamp all day at work (I listen to internet radio streams mostly but still).

+1 for at least Winamp "now playing" support, if not last.fm.

ya i like last.fm also, but i use itunes more for actually playing stuff. a plugin that had itunes, winamp, wmp, foobar, last.fm, etc. would be awesome.

It is? Where? I can't seem to find any options for this.

click your status dropdown box and click on "listening to..."

It would be nice if (like in Gtalk) this could be an available status as well.

Click the red circle next to your Listening to... status, and it will turn green, thus making you available.
