Psychic Mode

A psychic mode like Pidgin (and now Adium)has would be really sweet. This is one of the big features I miss from Pidgin. For those who don't know what it is, it's a feature that will pop up a chat window when someone else starts to type to you. Then you can respond to them and surprise them like your "psychic" thus the name... It's a really nifty feature!

I don't know if this has been asked before but I just want to show the dev's that there is a want for this feature.

Btw good job on Digsby dev's I use it as my main IM app now and Pidgin has become my backup.

Hmmm, whats your reasoning behind your opinion?

This would be a great feature!  I never liked pidgin to use it long enough to discover that.  I suggest you put it on the wishlist: http://digsbies.org/site/view/rfe

I believe it should be a plugin like it is in pidgin.

Maybe, I spoke too soon, I would like this feature but call it something different.  And do not make it anything like pidgin's.
set a trend, do something totally different.

Well in order to have it as a plugin there'd have to be a plugin framework or something like that, which we don't know if something like that is ever going to be implemented. The thing with psychic mode is that *i'm only guessing* the rough functionality is pretty much already in place. Your chat window already notifys you when someone is typing, they'd only have to make it open a new chat window when someone starts typing. I like you're idea about making it different from pidgin though!!

Ironically Pidgin wasn't original with the psychic feature themselves, there was a plugin for MSN Plus that did this a very long time ago (2 or 3 years ago).

Nevertheless I'd like to see this feature alot!

I don't think that qualifies as ironic...

It's ironic because joel thought it was Pidgin being original and Digsby should do something else original when it was Pidgin that wasnt being original anyway.

Actually requests are approved by the guy that runs Digsbies.org, not by any Digsby developers.
