adjust the size of popups?

I like the pop-up notifications for when buddies sign on and off and such, but after adding facebook there are a lot of them (and no way to restrict notifications to a particular buddy group... yet.)  On my screen they show up as a 1" x 5" black box.  And when several people sign on and off or whatever at the same time, that's a very significant portion of my screen covered until they disappear or I go through and click them all.

It would be really nice to be able to control the side of the notification boxes.  If some people need them big to be able to read them, cool.  But for people who don't mind small print, a slimmer 1-2" square box would be sufficient and much less disruptive.  Trillian, for example, had a sleek notification system.

lifeofhismusic:  I get the feeling that control over notifications is something that is planned, but not considered high priority.  I'd suggest adding it to the Digsbies wishlist, maybe it's popular enough to get pushed up on the timeline.

I completely agree. Digsby doesn't even have plug-ins and it doesn't look like it will in the near future. Try replying only when you have something constructive to say, Joel. There's no contest for who can post the most.

I agree that something needs to be done about the notifications. They should be customisable to an extent. I'd personally like them to be less wide as well, however something would also need to be done with the management of text in them (not cutting off long lines, etc).

I have to agree with this, something you can get a few popups appearing at the same time and it takes up an unnecessarily large space on my screen.

Not a hugely important thing to be done I guess but hopefully its at least in the pipeline

I agree. I would love any new GUI customization options.

All the size information of the popup notifications are skin dependent, skinners can take a look at the popup key in the skin.yaml located in Digsby\res\skins\default for an example of how it works
