Forum post notification

This is a request to have the topic reply notification feature turned on for the forum so we know when there was a reply to our message.  There is an option in Profile to modify the feature but there's none to actually turn the feature on.

I'd like to second this request. I'm also confused by having it on in the privacy option but not being present on post pages.

This forum is fine, why not just enable the feature that already seems to be supported? What forum software is this?

I'd rather just be able to see a list of "new posts."  Most other boards have this.

i just click on 'past 24 hours' and it shows all the threads with activity in the past 24 hours. the ones that have new posts since the last time i posted (or maybe visited?) are bold.

Yeah, bold indeed but a notification would be nice if it's already in place. If not, it's not a big deal I guess.

Sweet.  I think that should have been on the header, but thanks!

Personally I'd say SMF is the best FREE forum script. phpBB is good but look at how often you have to update and when you do update you have to manually redo any mods you have.

http://php.opensourcecms.com/scripts/sh … cat=Forums is a good place to play with various PHP forums and you can even login to the admin to have a play.
