Hey, I would like to change the default sound for email notifications.
I went to \res\sounds\default and copied a new email.wav file and them changed the email line in sounds.yaml into "email_new: email.wav" but it doesn't work.
Anybody have any idea why? Thanks! smile

Make sure you have sound turned on in PREFERENCES/NOTIFICATIONS for "New Email Arrives"

never mind. i found that it doesn't work for me either, even if you put the full path to the file.

Hey I tried the same.. After you put a wav file in the same folder, and cmake the necessary changes in sound.yaml,

Exit Digsby and Start again.. the changes will work..

Thanks for this information. I did find it helpful. I was a little concerned when I realized that my sound was not working. At first, I thought my beats headphones weren't working, but after some messing around, I discovered the problem was with the software. I have made the necessary changes, and restarted and everything seems to be working as expected now. I am very grateful for the help on this, Thanks!
