Gtalk initiating chat bug?

I haven't had a problem with Digsby up until recently and it's a very head scratching bug.

I messaged a new friend with Digsby after adding him to my contact list.  He never got my message...none of my messages went thru.  And here I thought he was being a prissy princess and ignoring me.

But, it turns out that he had to initiate the conversation first then we could chat.

This is happening with all my new coworkers in the office.  They're all set on GTalk as the corporate IM client.  So for them to talk to me they have to ping me first.

Anyone else come across this?

Thanks!

I've got the same problem as the initial poster.  Specifically the problem occurs when using my Google Apps for your domain account.  I have to receive an IM from someone before any of my messages get through.  Then communication can continue until I close the chat window, but if I close the window the problem begins anew.

Possibly unrelated: The Google Apps chat shows as the Jabber service for some reason instead of Google Talk even though the connection url and port are the exact same as my other Gmail account.

I'm using Vista x64 in case that matters as well.

Thanks!

I just installed Digsby and experiencing the same issue.  Did anyone figure out what was going on?  I'm using two gtalk accounts at the same time, don't know if that the issue or not.
