Facebook Connection Lost...

One of my Facebook accounts is saying that the Connection is Lost in the buddy list at the bottom, as well as the pop-up screen when the bar is highlighted. My Facebook chat for the same account works well.

I'm using build 24927.

I am using Build 24920 and have this same problem.

This has not gone away, even with submitting a bug to Steve. He believed it to be a Facebook server problem, but I have two FB accounts on my Digsby and the other one has been connecting just fine. Again, this occurs for the same FB account on both my laptop and desktop PCs.

I am having the same problem again. Had it for several days last week, bug reported it, and it's back this time with no facebook changes to have caused it.

Build 24920. Same problem here. Very annoying.

I'm using 24920 and have just today started experiencing this problem with a twist.  When I start Digsby, I get a browser popup for the Facebook application identical to the one when I set up my Facebook account as a Digsby social netowrk.  After entering the correct password for FB, I am prompted to close the window. 

The FB bar then disappears from the Digsby buddy list window, and the Facebook account appears unchecked in the My Accounts window. Checking it brings back the popup browser window prompting for the Facebook password, and the cycle repeats...

I have verified on Facebook that my permissions for the Digsby app are all still in place.

I'm noticing that it goes away when I signout then sign back in, but give it about 15-30 minutes and it's once again there.

Interestingly enough, people using the Facebook iPhone app started having problems getting dropped as well.  Several people I know, including myself, started having problems with the app just closing.  There are a lot of people in the Facebook forums having the issue.  Since the symptoms started around the same time, I can't help but wonder if they are related.

I lost connection with Facebook yesterday and was not able to get it connected yet. 

The fix I found was to remove the Facebook account from Digsby and then add it back in again.  Once you add it back in, it goes through the authentication and connection process.

The above worked for me.  Hope it helps.

The same thing happened to me today. Removing the Facebook connection and recreating solved the problem for me.

I believe the issue is related to the Facebook widget. If you don't authorize the Facebook widget or if you delete it (and restart Digsby), Digbsy is unable to connect to Facebook. The good news is you don't have to actually add the widget to the your profile, you just have to authorize it.

Yes, deleting the Facebook account and recreating it also worked for me. Kind of annoying, but less annoying than getting the "Facebook connection lost" popup every two minutes.

Hmmmm, I just tried what you two suggested and it didn't work for me :-(  I guess I'll give it a few more minutes or hours and then try it again. Thanks for the suggestion!

I was gonna give a small speech about digsby in a class tomorrow. This facebook starts happening now how convient. Hope it fixes it self soon.

Now I have seen it for the past couple days for both accounts. Right at this moment, it's for one, the same one I mentioned before. But an hour ago, prior to a Digsby restart, it was both Connections Lost. This morning, same thing, too.

Also, I have deleted and added the account several times on my desktop and laptop. It looks like it's going to solve the problem. But then it comes right back the same way in less than a day.

I've been getting this error too.  I'm using build 25261.  I tried deleting and adding the account several times but have had zero luck.  This just started happening a few days ago for me.  Help!

Is getting worse for me. Now for some reason when i click on the FB icon on the task bar it just says offline and i can do nothing to try to get it to reconnect. Whats up with that?
