Is it weird that digsby works good for me? I use ICQ, Yahoo, MSN, Facebook(via Jabber) and Twitter. There are some minor bugs, like I cant move the group Facebook Friends in my contact list and I can't delete some incorrect facebook contacts but the rest is just fine. Oh and file transfer doesn't always work but it never did...

MSN should be completely broken for everyone if I'm not mistaken.

MS is trying to get MSN users to switch to Skype but as I have said before I find Skype to be a resource hog, ugly and not that user friendly.

Nope, it really works for me. And I haven't done any tweakings or anything like that. (By MSN I mean people who use Windows Live Messenger)

^Weird as people are able to log in, but NOT be able to receive/ send messages to other MSN contacts.

And hmm using Trillian but also Skype (standalone) as I don't like the UI within Trillian for Skype.

I use MSN protocol daily and I've never experienced any problems. But I'm wondering what will happen after MSN definitely merges with Skype. By the way here is a proof smile

Toldi it depends on what version you are using. The last alpha release brought with it an updated MSN protocol which is fubared and neither sends nor receives messages.

And they are not merging, they are just turning MSN off and telling everyone to use Skype instead.

You need to put this file in the program folder but as we have said the MSN is screwed on it.

Thanks. And may I know what is improved by this file besides the fact that I couldn't use MSN anymore?

I agree, I merged my MSN and Skype accounts and have been trialing it out, but sometimes my system will slow to a crawl, and every time I have looked to see what is going on, it seems Skype thinks it needs 80% of my CPU....... As soon as I close it, my whole system comes alive again and I can actually use it. Skype just seems to want to run away with my CPU usage 3 or 4 times a day, which is unacceptable really.

A bit late here, I know, but even if they want to push people towards Skype for chatting, it would be nice to continue supporting connection to Hotmail/Live accounts for e-mail notifications.  I would think that both could be supported.
