Contact Manager (Address Book)

Hi,

I am new here and only been using DIGSBY for a short while so far.

I got to say that it is looking to be a very impressive tool for managing your online social life.

I was thinking that it could start to help you in your offline line life a little by being contact management system with extended details stored to contact or alias.

Features could include:
  -Edit contact information
  -Link contacts
  -Add extra detail not supported by the online services (eg. Phone#, Address, work, etc.) ** like seen in MSN Live Messenger
  -Compare online profile with local profile for contacts

After some basic interface for that sort of thing is done, then maybe you could look into doing more advance things like:
  -Link Addresses to Google maps or Live maps
  -Link phone numbers to Skype
  -Integrate "last seen"
  -Birthday/Anniversary reminders

Is this to develop Digsby's on Contact Manager, or integrate other Address Books like Window's or Mozilla's?

I think they should develop their own as to be able to automatically update information that has changed on social network profiles that you should be able to link to the contact.

+1! This would be nice, but more important... it should be able to sinc to the email client... Live mail, outlook and Thunderbird would be nice.

It would be very useful because if I format my laptop and install digsby again for example, it would be nice to have all the online contact information ( from social networks and profiles ) directly updated in the email client by Digsby. An export contact list option would bem good too.
