New Skin: Chameleon v 1.0

Well, here is my attempt to skin Digsby. The result... Chameleon v. 1.0. I designed the skin to match my desktop style. Stay tuned for more color variations.

You might want to save that screenshot as a .PNG or something, or at least save it as a higher quality JPEG.

It doesn't matter what theme I use, its pity that digsby "can't get rid" of that nasty (open, close, minimize) window around the application. It's really a design killer.

If you use the Aero style as your default windows theme, feel free to post a screenshot of it and Chameleon v 1.0.

Well, the first screenshot is with no jpg compression (100% quality), but the second one is compressed to 90%. Isn't that enough for a peek preview? hehe just kidding. I'm gonna change this ASAP.

Very nice theme! I had to edit it to take out the green and the white bar at the bottom, but I love it!

Oh and btw, feel free to post your edition of Chameleon skin, so I can include it as a variation in one of the future versions.

Looks good but I definately dislike the outstanding green at the bottom where the "expand" button is. Should be a much more monotone or darker color.

Another suggestion, in your next version could you lower the padding between buddys so that there isin't any space seperating them?

Sorry I'm such a nitpicker and minimalist. I started using this skin today and I'm adapting to it. Anyways thanks!

What Vista theme/mod are you using in the screen shot of the buddy list?

Just started using Digsby and went through all the skin options. Your skin looks good, except I need higher a contrast cuz my eye signt isn't the best (and yes I've already increased my font styles up as high as i can justify going).  My life changed for the better (yes it was that drastic of a "find") when i found the "PitchDark" theme for Firefox.  The colors and contrast are amazing (if you want to see things easier/faster) so much so i made a screen shot of the theme i.e. "plug in" installed in my version of Firefox (and yes it works with Vista AERO as my default desktop theme I might add!) The cropping of the picture isn't perfect but you get the idea:

I desperatly need to be able to have the contact/buddy name change to bold or a new color when they come online, so I dont have to have space wasted with little icons to the left of the contact/buddy names cuz that wastes space. Why would Digsby not include that awesome functionality from Yahoo? Also, the padding around your contact names makes your skin unuseable for me cuz i have too many contacts to trade screen real estate for a skin.  I use a laptop and even on my desktop, maximizing screen real estate will always be my #1 goal as I have allot to do...always.

How would this look on XP Pro?

What is the conversation skin you're using? My biggest gripe sometimes is how I seriously can't seem to make out the Display pics. Even when I click on Info on the convo window, it has it's own fixed size.

Look at MSN, it's always so clear. On contact list, not so much, but definitely in the conversation window.

I want this skin, but Digsbies is dead.

Same problem as Juno, I'd love this skin so much, but I can't find it anywhere
