Joel bumping although it can bring to the attention of the devs about the feature request, im sure already that they are fully aware of the demand for this.

FYI you cant bump your own topic wink. Bumping is more of a way of users who havent posted in the topic to show that they want this. Try voting for this over at digsbies.org.

my main point was trying to get others in the conversation of how much this feature is needed and wanted.

Why?  The Devs have already stated ON MULTIPLE occasions that THIS is coming TO THE TOP of their to-do list.  So leave off harassing the devs by bumping posts that they've already confirmed IS going to be done.

@Joel, either that's sarcasm or you're just ignorant.

@Chris, you are most welcome.  I can't stand pricks who harrass people that are working as hard as you devs are.

Maybe a little bit of both.

Is there any update on when Digsby's Jabber/XMPP implementation will support multi-user chats? At lot of awesome work has gone into Digsby since I first mentioned this back in February(<http://forum.digsby.com/viewtopic.php?id=253>), but I really feel that group chats need to be a priority!

Beyond that, keep up the good work!

Hi. I like Digsby pretty much, but I can not "migrate" from Pidgin without "Chat Room" feature for Jabber. I use this feature all day long.
Thx in advance.

If I had this option i would unistall pidgin and be a digsby only user...interesting notion is it not.

What's more interesting is that you're not the only one. I personally don't understand pidgin, but it does get annoying constantly asking "Add ___".

Can you IM via digby ID?  Meebo lets you chat with other Meebo users.  Would it be possible to make a chatroom for just Digbies users first then trying cross-platform IMing and chatrooms?

Boy I hope it gets here soon. Digsby developers ... any updates on the status of conferences for us?

Any update?

Multi-user chat (in all protocols) is planned but the timeline is unclear at the moment.

Not sure when the original request was made, but this forum post dates back to May of 2008. Any updates on progress? Is there anywhere we can see a timeline of development or estimations/guesses/approximations of feature completion? I couldn't find any poking around myself, unless I overlooked something.

An update would be most welcome.  I LOVE this program, but I do a number of group chats that I have to use a different program for.

Thanks,

I'm really interested in this feature too. I really like Digsby but I need group chat. Would use it all the time if it had it! smile

Is there somewhere we can see where this falls in the priority list?  Looks like there is plenty of requests to make this a pretty big deal.  Add on another requester!
