hey guys... I love digsby but this one little bug has been bothering me. I used to be able to use music statuses, but one day it stopped working. All it can do is get stuck on "listening to music" now. This was an issue for me in both itunes 8 and 9. I've tried reinstalling several different times, on several different computers, and it seems to be my account that's the problem. What's going on?

You say you've "reinstalled several times" but what did you reinstall? Digsby or iTunes? It's been my experience that updating iTunes causes it to become unregistered as a COM application which makes it undiscoverable by Digsby. A fresh install of iTunes should work fine. As an example, I just installed iTunes 9 on this computer and the 'listening to' status worked great big_smile

since you're using Windows, i would blame itunes, like mike did. It caused several Problems with Plugins and Scritp-ports in the past (on windows. guess it works better on a MAC^^).

I've tried reinstalling both several times... the thing is, it shows up just fine for other applications relying on iTunes' COM, like last.fm or CD Art Display. It's just digsby that refuses to change.

hey guys-- I resolved my problem by uninstalling digsby and deleting everything in the %appdata% folders that was related to digsby. Reinstalled, and it worked!
