PS Skype has been sold to a new owner.
Only a legal minefield if Digsby try to reverse engineer the Skype protocol.
Perfectly legal to use the Skype API. Yes, this means that Skype starts up when you startup Digsby. I think we can all afford the 20MB of RAM or so that Skype takes up.

Problem: It opens one Trillian Astra window and the skype chat window... if anyone sees an advantage in that, please tell me, i wouldn't call it inbuilt support if still the whole program runs, blinks and peeps on its own.
You can tell Skype to stop doing that. I don't remember the setting, but Trillian sends an API call to Skype to tell it to go into Silent mode. Skype will pop up box to confirm this, with an option to never ask again. You do this, from then on, Skype will be silent while Trillian (or as we would like, Digsby) has control.
