AIM chat issues? anyone

i recently started using AIM with digsby, just have a single contact ;P noticed their replies seem to come rolling in all at once now and again, as if delayed by maybe a min at most? i do not know if the issue is related to digsby or the other users end and connection.

all other protocols i use seem unaffected by this issue, any idea what might be up?
