OS: Tiny XP Beast Edition
Account: Admin
Result: Everything works except one thing. I'm not even sure if it's digsby, but myspace won't authenticate.

(I love it that I can now actually use my computer while it's downloading the auto-update -- before my hard drive would churn incessantly and I wouldn't really be able to do anything else)

Same here.  I think the new installation first deletes the program then re-extracts it.
Surely it should just extract and overwrite the main program executable and whatever else happens to have been updated.

No issues directly related to the update appeared to come up, though I did notice that many of my offline contacts were listed as "Unknown" for their status.  I haven't seen that before, but I haven't looked, either.  Signing off and on with my AIM account fixed it.

Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit
Administrative account with UAC enabled
Result:  Appears to have worked, but Digsby didn't say "Update Successful" when it restarted like it used to.  Also, does this fix the problem where Digsby stayed elevated after an update instead of restarting as limited?

EDIT:  I'm running Service Pack 1, in case that makes a difference.

OS: Win XP MCE SP2
Account: admin
Result: worked, lost custom skins

a while after installation, i had 100% CPU usage problem (digsby is running to slow) a log was sent. I guess there are still CPU issues present, not sure what I was doing at the time, flicking through tabs, talking to invisible and online contacts.

That would be from the installer. Sorry, I'll see if I can change that.

That was the plan, but according to McoreD it still ends up with admin priveleges. We'll look at it on Monday smile
