Translations?

Heyho guys,
the first thing i wanted to say is that i love digsby...

i'm from germany and i wanted to ask if i can translate digsby into german somehow... it would be very nice to have digsby in different languages

I would like to see how it comes out, as I'm studying German right now and any help I could get would be awesome.

And of course it'd be great for the Digsby project too.

We will offer translated versions of digsby in the future as you can probably tell from the language drop down in the preferences.

I'd like to help with the pt-PT translation..

Why not create a template, where you just have to translate the english phrases to another language.
Everyone can do that with his motherlanguage and everything is fine, you put them in a folder called "language" and digsby detects them. Than you dont have languages you dont need, too.

That's the plan, but we've really got to spend some time on it, to make sure only the right things get translated, and that we get as many things translated as can be.  Right now, we've more important things.  Basically, we'd rather it work correctly in english, than not work at all in german.

I can help with hebrew

Just search every String, create a Array (one var. for every String). Give the Values to the Array and change it, so the programm always use the Array and no fixed Strings anymore.
If everything works fine just write the Value as comment behind (save is save ) and read the new value from a file. Another file - another language.

I could help translating Digsby into Spanish.

I'm able to fix up group of people to translate Digsby into Polish.

I still don't know what do you want to do with polish users of Digsby - GG support, translations, etc. - anyway you can count on me.
